There was no greater thrill in the 1990s for me and my two sisters than the release of a new Argos catalogue. A pilgrimage down Perth High Street, through the automatic sliding doors, to be greeted by a pyramid of help-yourself tomes, full to the brim with must-have tat.
We pored over them for hours.
We invented games.
We treated them like sacred texts.
Inspired by divine memory, and in an effort to bring this classic literature fully up to date, I’ve created a series of art slides compatible with any and all magic lantern slide projectors, allowing you to project perfect products from a bygone era at worrying scale.

As fate would have it, each slide can, in the absence of a projector, be hung in a window or propped beside a tealight to add a warm, alluring Argos ambience to any room.
